We're going to the zoo

Hi all! Sorry for the missed post yesterday! The picture of the beauty screaming on the floor gives you an idea of how yesterday went.... not so good... as a matter of fact, Jodi spent so much time on the floor that her little outfit was filthy by the time we got home!! Now back to the good part... we had fun at the zoo. The pandas were so cute wrestling and playing. We also highly recommend that you come to the Beijing zoo to see the caged squirrels and raccoons or you can just look around your own backyard! We thought that was pretty funny. They had some really beautiful exotic birds we had never seen.
Jodi is now giving lots of kisses and is sweetly giving one to Nye Nye in this picture. As you can guess, our little cutie has plenty of mood swings and who can blame her with all of the changes in her life. The language barrier has been a true challenge as she is very talkative and we don't know how to respond. It also makes discipline very difficulty. We decided it was a good thing she's still light enough to pick up and carry (barely) because when she's pouting on the floor, she has no intentions of getting up!! We went with another family to an indoor playground for kids and she got to play some more with her buddy. Jodi absolutely loved the giant ball pit and showed no fear jumping into the pit over and over.
Today Fred and I celebrate 10 years of marriage! We can't believe 10 years has passed that quickly and we thank God for the time together. We also thank God for the most incredible gift of our daughter. We love all of your messages and keep them coming! It helps us feel more connected to home. By the way Riley, we will have our guide translate your message and give it to Jodi. We love you all!
