Shopping day

Today was shopping day! Guess what happens when you take a little girl to a huge store when she has never been to one before?! Exactly..... she wanted to touch and see and own everything!! We were laughing so hard. She was sitting in the shopping cart and when we handed her something, she would slam dunk it into the cart with a smile. She was so excited that it was hers! Later we were walking to lunch with our guide and another family who adopted a little boy who is a friend of hers. They were rapidly talking back and forth to each other very loudly. When we asked the guide what they were saying, she told us that they were comparing what they had such as "I have a car".... "Well I have a backpack." They were so thrilled with their new possessions and agreed that they would share them with each other. Pretty cute!
She continues to copy our words and is able to count to 5 on her own with her unique pronunciations. She's so animated and proud when she gets it right.
Now guess what happens when a little girl refuses her nap. You guessed it.... meltdown. She said no to the bath, no to putting on her pajamas, no to pretty much anything we suggested. She'll be sleeping in her clothes tonight and hopefully will take a bath in the morning! We're excited to be going to the Great Wall tomorrow. What an amazing opportunity! Thank you for your continued encouragement and love. It means so much to us! By the way, we are not checking our emails and this/Skype are the best ways to communicate with us. WE LOVE YOU!!!
