Another busy day in Beijing

After the artist had been at work for several hours and fought taking a nap, sleepiness took over!
The picture with Baba Fred was taken after naptime at a wonderful Chinese/Thai restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. She continues to amaze us with her determination and adaptability. She's very good with coordination and working with her hands (which the occupational therapist in me just loves!) and tries to do everything for herself. We are confident that the orphanage did an incredible job of teaching her and loving her. Looking forward to shopping day tomorrow!! Love to you all and thank you for your continued prayers and encouraging words. We love hearing from you!!!

"That is probably the sweetest thing i have ever seen in my life. Seeing things like that renew my hope for humanity. I look forward to meeting that beautiful little angel soon. Thank you for sharing that with me.. it really warmed my heart and made my day.

  4. We love hearing about each day...hope you keep the notes and pictures coming. Jodi is adorable and looks to be adapting well and the two of you look so happy. Check out the Quanjude Peking Duck Restaurant if you get the chance...has been in Beijing since 1864...quite unique and delicious (but a little pricey)...Jodi can show you how they eat the ENTIRE duck from head to toe!! YUM!! :)
