Nye Nye (Grandmother Dianne) here,
Susan asked that I write this morning just to update you on Jodi's current situation. She is continuing to run a fever today and is nauseated -- pretty miserable little girl and pretty miserable parents. The doctors are doing blood work to rule out an infection and are considering the possibility of a urinary tract infection caused by the catheter -- time will tell. They will have to watch her for 48 hours so it looks like they will be spending the weekend at the hospital. They ask for your special prayers today as they all struggle with this situation. We all thank you for your wonderful support, love and prayers.

Hi MaMa, BaBa, and Nye Nye
ReplyDeleteWe apologize for lack of comment before now. We just figured out how to reply, although we have tried before. We have been following along since Nye Nye told us about the blog. We want you to know our thoughts & prayers have been running in the backgound and will continue forever. You are on our school members church prayer list also. They are keeping up with her progress through Florine.
We love you,

ReplyDeleteWe are praying for Jodi's continued healing, and that you two, Fred and Susan, would be able to rest so that you can keep up with her when you get her home! She is one tough cookie! I was glad to hear from Matisa that they were able to be with you on the day of surgery. What a long day that must have been. I know that you two are continually blessed by Jodi's optimism and sense of humor, and she is certainly blessed to have such wonderful parents! Sorry about the previous post -- I was signed in as Bryan (oops!) -- I'm not exactly a techno-genius! Love to all!
ReplyDeleteWe are praying! So sorry to hear that Jodi is having a tough recovery. We pray this passes quickly and that Jodi and her parents will be home soon. Love to all~ Andrew and Jami Brown
