Here's little cutie helping Baba get Aunt Betty's car ready! Jodi is such a good helper and really takes pride in what she's doing.The only downside we see is that she can't stand to make a mistake. If she messes up or thinks she's hurt someone, she just cries and cries and has to be consoled. She's pretty tough on herself! Overall, Jodi is so sweet natured and very happy. I've been reading various posts on yahoo groups from other parents of special needs kids. I get a little scared by how some say that if there aren't problems with your children now, there will be down the road. I guess that can be said of all children so we'll just take it day by day and continue to pray for our little one.
Jodi's bloodwork came back with good results as did her TB test. So far so good! Wednesday and Thursday will be big days for us as we find out more about our daughter and what her medical needs are. We appreciate your prayers and also your patience with her and us as we continue to adjust to this new life!!
Oh good... now, we know where to bring our dirty car! :-) Such good news about the blood test results. We will be praying for you all Wed. and Thurs. and looking forward to learning more with you. I believe Mom and Dad had more trouble with me us a teens ... and look at us now. LOL That's all any of us have got, isn't it? Day by day. We love you!!! xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteSusan and Fred, I am so happy for you two. Jodi is absolutely beautiful. I hope we get to meet her soon. We will be thinking about you all as you continue your testing and praying for good results. We can not wait to see the newest member of the crazy Johnson clan. Maybe since Jodi loves the pool we can meet at Mom's(Ann's) house and swim , Emily would love to meet her new cousin. Congratulations and we look forward to your updates.

ReplyDeleteThe Earnhardt & Nielsen clans are so happy for you. Now we need to have another Johnson Reunion so that we can meet Jodi. Kathy and Bob are supposed to be coming up this summer so maybe we can get together then. Or as my Kathy said in her post above, maybe you and Fred can bring Jodi over to swim with Emily, Andrew and Alex this summer since I put in a pool last summer. We will keep all 3 of you in our prayers as you continue with your Doctor's visits and testing.
