Jodi's room

Some of our precious friends Riley and Jennifer Smith came over today to see Jodi's room. We were thrilled to get the "OK" from Riley who is one year older than Jodi. She said, "I think she'll love it!" which we think is the best compliment we could have gotten. We look at her room every day in anticipation and continue to pray that God will bless and that we will be a blessing to this little child that He is entrusting us with. We are still awed every day by the outpouring of love and generosity being shown to us and to Jodi. She has so many people just waiting to love her!!! For those of you reading this, we thank God so much for you.

Baba's birthday

We had a great time celebrating Fred's birthday! We extended it out the whole week. His cookie cake actually says "Happy Birthday Baba", just getting him used to the name.
We leave in 19 days which is unbelievable! We had 2 answered prayers today thanks to the continuing thoughtfulness and generosity of our church family. We have a ride to and from the airport!! Thanks to my sis Laura and her patient husband Latham I learned how to download my first picture today!! A very blessed day overall.

We got our Travel Approval today!

We got our official TA today which means it's all really happening! The next step is to get our consulate appointment from which our travel date will then be set. We should know that one day next week. We can't believe this is really happening after 2 LONG years but here we go.
